Export Compliance Policy
Our compliance process considers the product, technical data, end user, end use, destination, transaction structure, and current law before controlled activity proceeds.
Regulatory compliance
Counter Drone Corp and its manufacturing partners require review under applicable U.S. export-control laws and regulations before controlled products, services, software, or technical information are sold, exported, transferred, or released.
What requires authorization — and what doesn't
- No license is required to talk to us. Inquiries and discussions based on published information, including everything on this website, are unrestricted. We screen all correspondence against U.S. embargo and denied-party lists as a matter of practice.
- U.S. Government authorization is required for all sales and exports of our products, for any transfer of controlled (non-public) technical data — even before a sale — and for any licensed-production or manufacturing partnership.
Customer responsibility
- Due diligence — each customer is responsible for compliance with applicable export-control laws, including the laws of their own jurisdiction.
- End-use and end-user restrictions — unauthorized use, resale, re-export, or retransfer of our products is prohibited.
- Verification — we reserve the right to verify intended end-use and end-users, and to require end-user certificates and supporting documentation before any transaction proceeds.
Sale approval process
- All sales are subject to U.S. Government approval; additional documentation may be required to process an order.
- Sales will be declined where export compliance cannot be established or where end-use or end-user concerns exist.
Violations and penalties
Violations of applicable export-control laws may carry serious civil and criminal penalties. Binding representations and acknowledgments are provided in the applicable transaction documents.
